Social Justice Book Club

Social Justice Book Club Online

Join HCDL Director Holly Ward Lamb on a journey of discovery and self-reflection through monthly book club discussions as we explore issues of social justice, including racism, whiteness, feminism, queer rights, and more.

This month we will discuss the book What the Eyes Don't See by Mona Hanna-Attisha.

Registration is required and space is limited. Registration is open now and ends 24 hours before the event starts. The Zoom meeting link and password will be emailed to registered participants prior to the program. See below for technical requirements.

Reserved copies of the month's selected book are available for registered participants to borrow digitally from now through January 21, 2021 through Overdrive/Libby and physically through the Library. Thanks to the Great Michigan Read, registered participants may receive a free paperback copy of this month's book to keep. If you wish to get the book (whether electronic or print) through the Library, please indicate so when you register and we will contact you to arrange that.
