SUMMARY:Teen Volunteer Session: Help at Splash into Science (ages 14-17 with work permit) (Outdoors)
DESCRIPTION:Teens (ages 14-17)\, with a work permit*\,  can earn volunteer 
 hours and support the library by signing up for our Teen Volunteer 
 Sessions. Each individual shift requires registration. During this 
 session\, volunteers will assist with activity stations at our outdoor 
 “Splash into Science” event for elementary-age students.\n\nPlease 
 register to volunteer for this session ONLY if you enjoy working with 
 younger children\, are 14-17 years old\, and have a work permit to 
 volunteer at the library. \n\nRegistration is required and begins at 9am on 
 Thursday\, May 21. When you arrive for your volunteer shift\, please check 
 in at the Youth Services desk on the lower level of the 
 library.\n\n\n\n*Work Permit Information:\n\n1. A work permit is required. 
 Find out more about work permits here.\n\n2. Please complete the 
 appropriate form:\n\n\n	Teen Volunteer work permit (ages 14-15) for the 
 Howell Carnegie District Library.\n	Teen Volunteer work permit (ages 16-17) 
 for the Howell Carnegie District Library.\n\n\n3. Have your school's 
 issuing officer complete and sign the work permit:\n\n\n	Howell Public 
 Schools: Bring to the high school office\n	Homeschooled: Parent is the 
 issuing officer\n	Other Districts: Please check with your high school 
 office\n\n\n4. Email the completed application to youth@howelllibrary.org\, 
 or bring it to the Youth Services desk in the library prior to your shift's 
 start time.\n\nPlease stay home if you are sick.\n\nLibrary staff may 
 photograph or videotape portions of this event and its attendees for use in 
 promotional materials and on social media.\n\n
