Melon Fest @ your library! In-Person
Join Howell Carnegie Library with the following activities to help celebrate Howell's 2022 Melon Festival:
- 2022 Summer Reading Challenge participants are invited to walk with library staff and our bookworm, Mr. McLong, in the Melon Fest Parade!
- Everyone will enjoy building, exploring, and playing with “Big Blue Blocks” on the library lawn, 12-4 pm. (All ages)
- Try racing miniature electric cars on the library lawn, 12-3 pm. (All ages)
- Adults and teens may create a literary-themed candle holder on the library lawn, 1-3 pm. In case of poor weather, the craft will be available inside the library as a “take and create.” While supplies last.
- Do not forget the Friends of the Howell Carnegie Library Melon Fest Book Sale, Thursday, August 11 - Monday, August 15. Check our website for times.
- And please come into the library during the month of August to see the fantastic display of historic Melon Fest photos, courtesy of our Archives.
