Junior Artists: Warhol (grades 1-5) Online

Join us for an exploration of the famous artist Andy Warhol. Participants will recreate one work using the same technique he used and learn a little about the artist himself. Students in grades 2-5 may be able to work more independently while students in grades 1-2 may need adult help/supervision. After registering, attending this event has 2 steps: supply pickup followed by live virtual instruction.

Note: this class is offered at 2 times for your convenience, 6:15-6:45pm or 7:00-7:30pm. Please note the time you've registered for and attend at that time, as the zoom sessions will be different.

Step 1: Register below, beginning at 10am on Monday, October 4. Please register each individual child that will need a kit & be participating. Class is geared toward students in grades 1-5. (Registration ends Saturday, October 16; please email youth@howelllibrary.org for availability after this point.)

Step 2: Each registered attendee can pick up a Junior Artist kit containing all needed supplies. Drive up to Curbside Pickup at the backdoor of the library Monday, October 18 – Saturday, October 23, during the library's curbside hours (Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm & Friday-Saturday 10am-2pm). Let library staff know what you're picking up and the registered name(s).

Step 3: Live virtual instruction will take place over Zoom on Tuesday, October 26, 7:00-7:30pm. Have your kit & excited self, ready to go and log-in to zoom a few minutes before 7:30pm.

Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email; you will also receive a reminder email 1 day prior to the class - both from "Howell Library Events" & both contain the zoom session information.

Please contact library staff at youth@howelllibrary.org or 517-546-0720 if you have any questions.
