Spring Carrot Wreath Craft (grades 6-12) Online

Get ready to get your craft on!  Create your own Spring Carrot Wreath craft with the guidance of library staff over zoom.  All supplies required for the craft (glue dots, 8" wire wreath, twine carrots, and bow) will be provided.  A hot glue gun will also work great if you'd like to use that instead of the provided glue dots.

No experience necessary for this low-key, low-stress program. Just bring your creativity and excited self! For students in grades 6-12. Registration is required and will begin at 10am on Monday, April 5 and end on Saturday, April 17. (Call 517-546-0720 x107 or email youth@howelllibrary.org for availability after April 17.)

After registering, attending this event has 2 steps: supply pickup followed by live virtual instruction.

Step 1: Register below, beginning at 10am on Monday, April 5. Please register each individual that will need a kit & be participating. Class is geared toward students in grades 6-12. (Registration ends Saturday, April 17)

Step 2: Each registered attendee can pick up a Spring Carrot Wreath craft kit containing all needed supplies. Drive up to Curbside Pickup at the backdoor of the library Monday, April 19 – Saturday, April 24 (Curbside Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm & Friday-Saturday 10am-2pm); not available for pickup after 2pm Saturday, April 24. Let library staff know what you're picking up and the registered name(s).

Step 3: Live virtual instruction will take place over Zoom on Tuesday, April 27, 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Have your kit & excited self ready to go and log-in to zoom a few minutes before 6:30pm. (And a hot glue gun if you'd prefer to use it instead of the provided glue dots.)
