Reigster to pick up a special Take & Create project to work on at home. Registration begins at 10am on Tuesday, September 8 and ends on Saturday, September 19. Please register each individual teen who would like a kit.

Take & Create kits for Teens are designed for students in 6th-12th grade. Included in the September Spiroglyphics kit are instructions, spiroglyphic sheets, and a pencil; no additional supplies required.

Pick up your Take & Create packet from Curbside Pickup at the back of the library near Clinton Street, Monday, September 21 - Saturday September 26 during the Library's open hours (Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm & Friday-Saturday 10am-2pm); not available for pickup after 2pm Saturday, September 26.

What is a spiroglyphic?  Watch this youtube video or read more below:

A spiroglyphic consists of two spirals, joined at the middle, that vary in width as they wind towards the center. The simplest way to fill one in is to start at an outer end of the spiral (it doesn’t matter which) and just color towards the middle. Pause there to see if you can discern what the image is, then work out along the other spiral to the edge again, hopefully to reveal it in its full glory. For different effects, color the two spirals with different shades, or divide the spiroglyphic into sections, coloring each differently.
