Genealogy/Lineage Workshop with the DAR Philip Livingston Chapter In-Person
The Philip Livingston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution offers this free workshop to assist women ages 18+ who are interested in joining the DAR, a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Experienced genealogists and members of the Chapter will be present to answer questions, assist with research, and help with the DAR application process. Bring any family records and lineage documentation you have collected so far. Haven’t collected any yet? Then come and learn the steps needed to document your direct bloodline descent from your ancestors.
Space is limited. Registration is required and begins Saturday, September 28, 2019 online, by phone, or in person at the Information Desk.
Seating begins 15 minutes before event start.
