Downtown Space Walk
Adults 18 years or older, become an astronaut for an evening in the Library’s spaced-out version of a poker run! Meet in the Library’s Meabon Room for instructions, complete your space mission, and then dock at the Mother Ship, Howell’s downtown brewery Aberrant Ales (219 W Grand River Ave, Howell). Light pub fare included with your ticket; drinks available for purchase.
Space is limited. Registration is required. Ticket sales begin online Monday, June 17, 2019 and end on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 or until tickets run out, whichever comes first.
Please note: a minimum of 50 people must be registered by Thursday, July 11 for this event to take place. The Library reserves the right to cancel this event if the minimum is not met. No refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled; refunds made due to event cancellation will not incur fees.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is for adults 18 years or older. If you are 21 years or older and wish to purchase alcoholic beverages at the event, don't forget your ID!
How many players can be on a team?
There are no teams—it’s every person for themselves! But you are welcome to attend the event with your friends. Each person participating in the event, including the portion at Aberrant Ales, must purchase a ticket.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available surrounding the Library, where you will meet in the Meabon Room for instructions before heading on foot into downtown Howell for the Space Walk. At 7:30pm sharp, head to Aberrant Ales, less than a block away from the Library.
What can I bring to the event?
Your sense of fun and adventure! Dress in comfortable clothes for movement; astronaut training may require some crazy maneuvers. And don’t forget to bring your smart device or camera to capture your out-of-this-world memories!
What if it rains?
The Downtown Space Walk will be held rain or shine, so come prepared!
What is your refund policy?
Sorry, no refunds will be given unless the event is cancelled. The Library reserves the right to cancel this event if a minimum of 50 people must be registered by Thursday, July 11, 2019.
