It’s a party on the farmyard! Get your art groove on and paint a sassy chicken ready to jive, complete with neon colors and rhinestones! No experience necessary!

Sara Hemmeke loves to share the joy found in color and art with others. She is a multi-discipline freelance artist working in illustration, design, murals, and calligraphy. She has taught hundreds of students of all ages how to paint and draw with a firm belief that art should be FUN! Her style is playful and full of whimsy and bold colors. She and her family live in Howell, MI where she is literally painting the town one mural at a time!

Registration is required and begins Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 9am online, by phone, or in person at the Information Desk. Sign-ups close one day before the program starts, or when registration is full.
