ArtConnect: Drop Spinning Basics to Make Your Own Yarn! In-Person
This class will teach the basics of turning wool into yarn using a drop spindle. During class, students will create several yards of plied yarn. Brand new beginners and those with some experience are all welcome. Already have a spindle? Feel free to bring your own!
Our presenter, Krista, learned to sew when she was 8 years old; her grandmother bought her a sewing kit and she was instantly hooked! Her love for creative arts has grown to include weaving, spinning, and dyeing fibers, and she loves sharing her passion for the arts with others. She has a background in youth programming and has been teaching a variety of fiber arts classes locally for the past few years
