Ovarian Cancer Awareness with SPEAK In-Person
Learn more about ovarian cancer from SPEAK (Survivors Promoting Early Awareness and Knowledge). SPEAK presentations aim to raise awareness and increase understanding of ovarian cancer symptoms so that individuals seek medical advice sooner. Hear personal accounts from ovarian cancer survivors, put a face and voice to the often-overlooked disease, and hear the real-life subtleties of symptoms and diagnosis.
What to expect from the presentation:
- Ovarian cancer survivors will discuss myths, facts, symptoms, and risk factors of the disease in a 30-minute presentation.
- Registrants will receive handouts to take and share.
- After the presentation, SPEAK will answer questions and invite discussion in a 15-minute Q&A.
This program welcomes anyone who would like to learn more about ovarian cancer, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals.
