Join us for light refreshments and a discussion of Starship Troopers by Robert A Heinlein. This discussion will be facilitated by guest Ramon Baca, veteran and director of Livingston County Veteran Services.

With Earth embroiled in a vast interplanetary war with the"Bugs," a young recruit in the Federal Reserves relates his experiences training in boot camp and as a junior officer in the Terran Mobile Infantry.

Registration is required and begins on October 28 at 9am online, by phone, or in person at the Information Desk. Sign-ups close 1 hour before the program starts, or when registration is full. Those who register by end of day November 11th will receive a copy of the book. Information regarding pickup prior to the program will be sent to the email used to register for the program.

Seating begins 15 minutes before the program starts, at 6:45pm. Attendees may enter the building through the Grand River doors up to 7pm when the library closes but will exit the building through the Clinton Street doors.
