Teen Cooking Class: Tacos! (grades 6-12) In-Person
Register with your friends or come by yourself for this fun evening out. Together you'll prepare fresh tortillas, guacamole, taco fillings/toppings, and a sweet dessert in this hands-on class featuring:
- Tortillas
- Guacamole
- Taco fillings/toppings
- Fruit "salsa" dessert
Teens will be actively participating in the preparation of the meal in between a few demonstrations. They will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. At the end we will enjoy the food we've prepared - so come hungry!
This is a free hands-on class for teens entering grades 6-12. It is held at Hidden Springs Church. Registration is required and begins at 9am on Thursday, July 10. Please register each teen that will be attending & participating.
Please note:
- You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
- This hands-on class is limited to 16 students.
- Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
