MLK Jr. Day of Service

MLK Jr. Day of Service In-Person

This year, celebrate MLK Jr. Day with a day of service! There will be projects available for different age groups at several local locations, including the library.

The library's day of service activity is packaging seeds for our upcoming Seed Library. Adults and children third grade and up are encouraged to participate. Children in preschool through 2nd grade can participate with the help of a parent or guardian. Come for as short or as long as a time that you'd like.

Registration is not required to participate in the library's seed packaging service project. If you would like a reminder email for the Seed Library service project, feel free to register using the "Begin Registration" button below.

MLK 2.0 is a series of events brought to you by the Howell Carnegie Library, Huron-Clinton Metroparks, and the Livingston Diversity Council. Its goal is to deepen our understanding of Martin Luther King, Jr. and his profound impact on the civil rights movement.
